The growth, development and novelty trends for e-commerce and last mile delivery does not stop. Anticipating the times and constantly innovating is a priority for Tender.
Regardless of whether it’s food or brands, to further innovate the landscape of “customer experience” users will soon be able to shop directly on Whatsapp, without ever leaving the app and paying directly online, with a connected card. It is not a feature in beta, but a real possibility for millions of potential users, recently announced on the official blog of Meta, then relaunched by Mark Zuckerberg on his Facebook profile (29 August 2022)
The novelty, already discussed for months, is realized in India, in collaboration with the local e-commerce JioMart. The entire JioMart catalogue is already available to Indian buyers, who can shop online without opening the official ecommerce website but, simply, by sending a message through their Whatsapp profile to the official number, which is answered by a bot that helps users to complete the purchase and payment process.
This experience is already commented on as “revolutionary, for its unparalleled simplicity and convenience to people’s buying experience”.
How does it work?
For each product is shown the name, a photo, the price (with possible discount) and the button “+” to add it to the cart. Then, as on any normal e-commerce, from the cart you can see the overall list of products ordered, their cost and you can proceed to send the order and payment.
At this point you can choose between three payment methods:
- Cash on delivery
- Via the company website
- On Whatsapp
Tender Integration
Tender will be pleased to welcome the innovation, integrating the possibility of “end-to-end shopping” within the Whatsapp Business application, ensuring payments within the app and deliveries in style 7 days a week: by appointment, in 1 hour, in the day, the following day, the weekend, the evening.
